Why help refugees?! The bible expresses it best:

“The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.”  Leviticus 19:34
“Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.”  ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭1:17‬ 
“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”  ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭13:2‬

We can not claim to understand IF they should be here or WHY they are here, but they (people of other nations) are here. We know that “fear” is not of God so we will not be afraid.  We believe our call is to love the stranger among us -Just Love.
